Congrats on a good trip, you know 1 thing ive found all GREAT players have in common is the ability to recall hands as they played out....you can ask me what i had hand before last i cant tell you most times...lol
Besides being its usual awesome read overall i found to hands noteworthy....
"46clubs utg +1. Tight utg player limps but meant to raise, called the floor over and everything, so I decided to call and see if I could flop big. Heads up. Flop T87 w/ 2 clubs, he bets 500, I move in and he calls with JJ. River is a club and I’m up to 3400."
This in my limited B&M exp is always a profitable hand to get into....if you can get a piece of the flop here you can almost always be assured of him coming along the rest of the hand...ive done this several times myself, its like instant 1 hand tilt for the guy, even good players, they will somehow not give up that hand as easily as if they had gotten in that raise then missed the flop...ego thing i guess, but 1 rule ive made, if a guy wants to raise but cant/doesnt then by limping your getting a shot at a big hand for a discount price and if it hits you usually win alot more than you would otherwise......
"I limped J8s in mp behind a limper and got 2 more callers behind, bb raises, we all call. Flop 742, bb leads, limper calls, I call, lady behind me raises, bb and limper call and I call. Turn is a K which gives me a flush draw. Bb leads, I call, lady behind raises, bb folds, I call. River Q spades. I check, she checks a set of 2s behind. We talked about that hand for about 25 minutes. She didn’t like my flop call"
Another thing i do alot that makes the so=called "smart" players mad....on the flop you have 3 to a flush and with 10 bets already in the pot.who wouldnt call 1 bet to see if the turn hits 4 ya? and then when she raises its now 1 more bet vs 17 bets in the pot! your getting wat? 16-1 on a 4-1? then when the turn hits its the same scenario all over again...how could you not call no matter if it was 3 bet to you??? the pot odds are yours....they can call me "chaser" all night long i dont care, this is limit poker the way its made to be played..you have the odds you make the call....rule#2..in a limit pot with 4-5 people already in im calling with almost any 2 cards that can possibly connect in any way...the pot odds are 2 big not to!
Again glad you enjoyed the trip, only wish i could have been there..went early friday morning to get my truck license renewed and its a long story but by the time i left the state of louisiana had just about every dime i had to my name, sorry scum sucking bastards!!!!!! rule #3....fees = taxes...never let a frickin politician tell you different, they are 1 and the same!!!:money8:
